The New Orleans Saints is a professional American football team based in New Orleans, Louisiana, and a member of the National Football Conference. The team was founded in 1967 and has a strong following among fans, known as the "Who Dat Nation." The Saints have had several key players throughout their history, including legendary quarterback Drew Brees, who played for the team from 2006 to 2020 and led the team to a Super Bowl victory in 2009, earning MVP honors. Other notable players include Alvin Kamara, a dynamic running back who joined the team in 2017 and has been selected to three Pro Bowls, and Michael Thomas, a record-setting wide receiver who holds the NFL record for most receptions in a single season.
